Slight increase planned for meal prices: New regulations prevent school districts from using federal subsidies to reduce the cost parents pay for meals. The regulations allow school districts to close the gap over time by not requiring increases of more than ten cents in any one school year. To comply, the school board voted to raise prices by five cents for breakfast and ten cents for lunch.
Middle school students will pay $1.55 for breakfast and $2.40 for lunch.
